Transport Vehicle a reality for Macquarie Hospital

The Macquarie Park Rotary Club are again making a dream come true for a local group. The Macquarie Hospital has needed a transport vehicle to take their patients to their on site medical appointments and other errands, The vehicle cost was originally $14,000 and thanks to Yamaha Motors they will be giving a refurbished vehicle good as new  for $6500.00. 

Thank you also goes to our Member Mayor Vic Tagg who supported & negotiated & attended this meeting. We met with General Manager of ;the North Ryde Golf Club Brendan Ellam who contacted Yamaha motors to organise this meeting. The North Ryde Golf Club will offer their maintenance man to service the vehicle for Macquarie Hospital.

We have a Trivia Night set for Saturday 4th April, details are posted in this bulletin, so we can help towards paying for this vehicle. Incidently Yamaha Motors were very generous, in giving the vehicle to Macquarie Hospital and also giving us & them time to pay off the vehicle. Macquarie Hospital will be applying for a grant for this as well.
